LA County Bar Association: The New ‘Reorganization’ – Buying and Selling Troubled Companies – Bad is Good, Worse is Better Part II

Barry Burten and David Poitras hosted the LA County Bar Association program entitled "The New 'Reorganization' - Buying and Selling Troubled Companies - Bad is Good, Worse is Better PART II." This program will provide an interactive discussion concerning the sale of troubled companies and their assets in both a bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy context. The panel will focus on recent developments in the current marketplace concerning troubled company sales, including the navigation of new and uncharted waters in dealing with secured lenders in these transactions. The panel will discuss these developments from the perspective of the seller, buyer and other interested parties (landlords, secured lenders, trade creditors, etc.).
